Technological process specification      The wood-working plant, situated in Karaganda, was opened at the end of 2006. At the opening the plant was completed with modern equipment with China microprocessor control. Floe paint line was installed for wood plank, doors and panes painting. As control system equipment was damaged during the transportation, it was decided to carry out painting line control system with Siemens equipment.





Requirements to automation system

• It is necessary to provide stable operation of the line
• To provide devices conditions control.
• To provide blockings and exhaust control either from the paint booth or from the drying section.

SOLUTION AND AUTOMATION SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS      To realize recieved task, the controller Simatic S-7 CPU313 of the firm Siemens was used, operator’s panel ОР270-6 was installed and with its help an operator can change variants of paint circuits, also working line speed and temperature in the drying section.

Project implementation period      Project implementation period is 2,5 months, commissioning is May, 2007.
